Systems Engineer (Location: San Jose, CA - only Bay Area applicants will be considered):
Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technical sales support for major Sunrise Telecom accounts.
  • Provide telephone, email, and on-site technical support for Sunrise's direct sales people, sales representatives, and major customers.
  • Provide accurate and timely feedback on customer requirements, performance of Sunrise's products and desired features to Sunrise's marketing organization.
  • Lead field trials and lab evaluations of Sunrise's products with major customers.
  • Develop long-term consultative relationships with appropriate individuals within the customer's organization.
  • Develop and maintain superior knowledge of Sunrise Telecom's products, core technologies and future direction, regularly present this material to major customers.

Requirements:

  • Requires BS in EE/CS. Prefer MS in EE/CS
  • 3+ yrs of successful support or engineering experience working with or for a major telecom service provider
  • Self starter, proactive and must be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent in written and communication skills

Product Verification Engineer.
Key responsibilities:

  • As a PV engineer in system verification, you will responsible for performing the system integration test to all telecom products
  • Put forth and execute on a comprehensive test strategy, test plan development, test bed design/maintenance, execution of test cases, test automation development, and regression automation
  • Work closely with design and development team to debug complex problems and drive them to closure

Requirements:

  • Requires BS in EE/CS. Prefer MS in EE/CS
  • 3 to 5+ yrs of product test experience in system integration testing
  • Prior networking and telecom technology experience is required
  • Prior black box testing and test automation using automated test framework tool
  • Solid understanding of SONET/SDH/OTN, TCP/IP networking concepts and protocols
  • Possess in-depth knowledge in System Test related to chassis based hardware and software (embedded and application software)
  • Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems
  • Must create very solid test plans and procedures and help review testing requirement documents
  • Self starter, proactive and must be able to handle multiple tasks. Excellent in written and communication skills

Regional Sales Manager (Location: this position is not limited to San Jose area):
Key responsibilities/requirements:

  • Responsible for revenue and profit growth in assigned region.
  • Creatively discover, qualify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Proactive and organized management of complex sales process and sales pipeline with tenacious and consistent follow up.
  • Creative, constructive and persevering approach to solving problems effectively. Effectively sell internally as well as externally.
  • Communicate complex ideas concisely both internally and externally. Exhibit poise in challenging situations and communicate bad news constructively and effectively.
  • Team player that is aware of the connectivity between the Sales group and the other functions of the organization and consistently works to support the sales related needs of those functions.
  • Present the company and its products and value to current and potential customers concisely.
  • Utilize acute business acumen and judgment to creatively and effectively negotiate solutions between Sunrise and its customers that support the company’s strategic interests and bring value to its customers.
  • Develop strategies to grow revenue and profit within the region and with specific customers. Contribute to overall sales strategy development, modification and implementation.
  • Provide regular sales and profit forecasts for the region. Present ideas, strategies and plans for filling any gaps that may exist between forecasts and targets.
  • Strong networker with proven ability to build relationships internally and within all levels of customer organizations.
  • 50-75% domestic travel visiting new and existing customers.
  • 7+ Years of related experience.

Product Manager - Ethernet.
Key responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market.
  • Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute.
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product.
The candidate must have:
  • Must have Ethernet/IP test and measurement or network equipment manufacturer background.
  • 5 - 10 years experience.
  • B.S. or B.A in a technical or Business field providing relevant experience to the industry.
  • Must be able to interpret, understand and develop technical specifications in collaboration with engineering development teams.
  • Must be able to communicate on a technical level with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to develop financial business cases for new product introductions based upon market research and customer demands.
  • Detail Oriented, team focused, driving personality and goal driven.
  • Must be willing to develop a team culture and motivate the team to drive towards common goal.
  • Must be willing to travel worldwide.
