Alan B. Howe
Interim CEO
Alan has almost 30 years of extensive hands-on operational expertise combined with corporate finance, business development and corporate governance experience and became Interim CEO of Sunrise in August of 2012. Alan has also been a member of the Sunrise Board of Directors since May of 2012. Alan has a broad business background and has been exposed to a wide variety of complex business situations within large corporations, financial institutions, start-ups, small-caps and turnarounds. Currently, Alan is Managing Partner of Broadband Initiatives, LLC, a small boutique corporate advisory firm that he manages. His specialty is in providing leadership working with small-cap and micro-cap companies (both public and private) particularly in turnaround situations. Alan has significance experience in telecom and wireless having spent time at Sprint, Covad and Teletrac in a variety of senior managerial roles. Alan has also served both as a director and as a board chairman in multiple companies in a variety of industries including telecom and wireless equipment, software, IT services, wireless RF services, golf-shaft manufacturing, semi-conductors, and storage. Alan received a master’s degree in business administration from the Indiana University Kelley Graduate School of Business with a specialty in finance and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. |

JP Lapeyre
Vice President of Worldwide SalesJP has 20+ years of experience in technology both building and leading his teams to new levels of performance. Before joining Sunrise in late 2011, JP spent 12 years at JDSU (Acterna, TTC/WWG) leading his team to the #1 rank in sales growth in multiple years. JP is a member and former Director of Tech Coast Angels, the largest US Angel investing group with $120M+ in investments and with follow-on investments exceeding $1B. JP is a former board member and Series A lead investor in MicroPower who recently closed their Series C with Motorola Ventures. JP serves an advisor to several early stage companies as a respected growth strategist. JP is the lead inventor of multiple VoIP testing patents with the resulting product line being successfully deployed at Cisco, Nortel & Avaya. Mr Lapeyre holds a BS in Engineering from UC Berkeley and completed Masters of Engineering studies at GW University. |

Steven Manuel
Vice President of MarketingSteve is a Silicon Valley veteran with more than 20 years experience in telecommunications, networking and computing. He has held executive sales and marketing positions at industry leaders such as Logitech and Netgear and PCTEL. During his tenure at PCTEL, a recognized leader in network semiconductors and wireless test solutions, Steve held executive positions in sales, marketing and business development and was instrumental in driving impressive growth, a highly successful IPO and follow on acquisitions. Prior to joining Sunrise Telecom, Steve led corporate marketing, branding and demand generation activities for Aricent, a $700 Millon dollar networking technology and services leader. |

John Sandschulte
Vice President of EngineeringJoining Sunrise Telecom mid 2012, John Sandschulte spearheads product development and engineering for the company. John brings to Sunrise more than 25 years of experience leading multi-site, world-wide engineering teams. Most recently John served as Vice President of Engineering for GoAhead Software, the Service Availability Middleware market leader. GoAhead was acquired in late 2011 by Oracle. Before GoAhead, John was the Vice President of Engineering for Network Equipment Technologies where he was responsible for development, product marketing and program management for NET's Broadband Technology Group. Prior to NET, John held executive engineering roles at Flowise Networks, Hitachi Internetworking, and Sun Microsystems, Inc. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University. Chico. |

Ray Texeira
Vice President of Operations and Customer ExperienceRay has more than twenty years of experience in executive operations management, including roles as vice president of worldwide operations at Spirent Communications, general manager at Cerprobe Corp., and vice president of operations at Empower RF. During his career, he has been responsible for profit and loss management, strategic business planning, customer support services, manufacturing, supply chain management and quality assurance. |

Kevin Taylor
ControllerKevin has more than 15+ years of progressive management experience in publicly-traded companies, including Symantec, Electroglas and Globalstar. As Controller, Kevin is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Sunrise Telecom’s worldwide financial operations, as well as external and internal reporting, including worldwide financial planning and analysis. Kevin is a graduate of California Polytechnic University of Pomona, with a B.S. in Accounting. |
